Physical Education Program

In collaboration with with the JCC, our unique physical education program offers students classes such as Yoga, Aquatics, Athletic Conditioning, Tennis, Adaptive Fitness, Team Sports and Tae Kwon Do throughout the week. Each year, we determine which PE classes best fit our student’s interests & base our schedule around them.

Students will be introduced to the sport of tennis in a fun and engaging environment while also working on gross motor skills!


This class is taught by one of the JCC tennis pros through the JTENNIS Charlotte tennis program, here in South Charlotte!




Swim classes are taught by Levine JCC Swim School instructors in the beautiful aquatics complex.


Classes are designed to provide a foundation of all swimming skills including, water safety and proper stroke technique.

Yoga Class


There are so many benefits to kids who practice yoga. Not only will yoga keep kids healthy and fit, teenagers who practice yoga are found to be less stressed academically*!

A JCC yoga teacher will instruct our children on various techniques to achieve inner calmness, while improving flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness.

Team Practice


This is a total body conditioning class that is taught by a JCC Fitness Instructor.  The kids will use resistance and weights to work on strength and tone as well as cardiovascular fitness.
